What can I not say???

Which of these three, do you think, proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?” He said, “The one who showed him mercy.” And Jesus said to him, “You go, and do likewise.” (Luke 10:36-37 ESV)
Having shown this teacher of the Law doors #1, 2, & 3, Jesus had left him with the obvious choice: The one who had shown mercy to the beaten man was not the priest or Levite, but the Samaritan. But this man could not get himself to say "Samaritan", so he simply described him. The self-incrimination was so strong; the comparison so marked, that the only way to resist allowing himself to be convicted and change, he put things this way.  What words, whose name, can we not say, lest it convict us so strongly that we admit we have been wrong?
