In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” (Luke 10:21-22 ESV)
"Little children" - when I see that phrase I think the Apostle John, and his letters. He came by that phrase honestly, having heard it from Jesus' lips. He was one of those "little children", who in turn was entrusted to share the truths with other "little children," those who receive by faith what Jesus gives - the truth about Who God is and what He is like, His plan to redeem us, and His way of using us to pass it on to other "little children." Enjoy being His kid today.
