It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
2 to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night,
3 to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
4 For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.

Some days it's hard to find the good in life. We live in a fallen world with other sinners and stuff goes wrong. Where can we find the good? One place is always in praising God, in declaring His steadfast love for us. We need to look up and around, to God and what He has made and what He has done for us in Christ. As the old Gospel song says: "God is still on the throne; almighty God is He. And He cares for His own, through all eternity." We can always find the Good. We just need to look in the right place.
