The importance of wisdom...

Proverbs 4:5-9 Get wisdom; get insight;do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;she will honor you if you embrace her. She will place on your head a graceful garland;she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.”
How important is wisdom?   In the big scheme of things?  Definitely in the top ten.  We need to pursue wisdom with a passion greater than that of a lifemate, because we will need wisdom even when he/she is not around.   Every day we make decisions all day long, some of which have long-lasting consequences.  One good or bad choice can change a lifetime.  We need wisdom as a basis for the Holy Spirit to guide us.  An all-wise God with an all-truthful Book gives us that foundation.  Today may we choose wisdom, get wisdom, live wisdom.
