Downright Delightful

"Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
Sounds simply enough, doesn't it. Just "delight", and you will have everything you want. We need to understand "delight". It is not this sweet little wishing upon a star. It is the picture of a hunter in pursuit of game, pushing through brush, the elements, and even danger to get what he is after.  In context, it is wholeheartedly seeking after God.  Thus, the other imperatives of the Psalm: "don't worry... don't envy... trust... be still... refrain from anger - there is a whole lot more to "delighting" than sitting around sipping tea. It is a whole-hearted endeavor and concentration.  Today is a great day to delight.
