Where He is...

Hebrews 4:14-16 Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
When we put the big picture all together, it is overwhelming.  Christ has come and accomplished the work He came to do: living sinlessly, dying sacrificially, rising triumphantly.  But He is not just sitting back in His easy chair in heaven collecting spiritual social security.  He is at the right hand of the prayer-hearing Father, interceding on our behalf.  Meanwhile the Holy Spirit is here with us, helping us figure out how to use the phone, moving to make our side of the conversation meaningful. How God cares for us!  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
