And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

This is a verse many of us will recognize as a generic "memory verse" for camp, Sunday School, or some kids Bible group. Actually, it is a summary of all that has gone before, summarizing the whole of the Christian life: transformation of every thought and action to live to please God, thankful for each and every change He makes to bring us to where He wants us to be. May this be more than just a memory verse for us; may it be the passion of our lives.
