What a passion for the Word of God! The psalmist rightly realizes the connection between life and the Word of God; in it we find life and how to live it. How clear and concise his conclusion: "Your Word is Truth." This makes the last statement possible - the recognition that God's rules are not a burden; they are not given to make us miserable. They are righteous, just the way they should be, for the relationship involved here - a creation to his/her Almightly Creator and Sovereign Lord of the universe. God has it right.
