3 John 1:1-2 The elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth. Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
When God created Man, He prepared for him a place in the Garden. This was not only a place where they could meet and interact, but also where God provided the resources needed for his survival and comfort. God cared about every part of Man's existence. As John writes to his dear fellow believer, he expresses the same kind of care. First and foremost, he cares about his friend's spiritual condition and relationship with God, but it does not stop there. Gaius is much more that a notch on his ministry belt. John cares about his emotional, occupational, and physical well-being also. May we truly love and care for our fellow believers in every aspect of their lives.
