I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift. (Ephesians 4)
So, I woke up with a song in my head I cannot get out, nor can I find it on the internet. It is a worship song about us being "One" as the body of Christ. So the scripture above will have to do. (Not a bad thing...) What is our biggest challenge as believers? What does it mean to walk in a manner worthy of our calling in Christ? To know, believe, and act like we are one member in the body of Christ, and our job is to do what He has called us to do in that One body. And it's a challenge, because we all look out for number one. May we actually live what is true in the eyes of God. Meanwhile, for our edification...
