Whatever may come...

13 Let me have silence, and I will speak,
    and let come on me what may.
14 Why should I take my flesh in my teeth
    and put my life in my hand?
15 Though he slay me, I will hope in him;

(Job 13)
Interesting guy, this Job. Godly, yes; perfect, no. But he was the real deal. He does "wrestle" with God quite a bit in this journey of trials, suffering, and even unjust treatment.  But what he humbly clings to is the righteousness of God and the certainty that God's control over his life, circumstances, and outcome is far better than "putting my life in my (own) hand."  So whatever may come...
