16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. Our family is making some weekend plans. A lot depends on the weather. Will it be inside or out? But when it comes to life, the choice is clear: choose inside. Our bodies tell us they are wearing down and out; our souls can tell us differently. Even though weary through trials and struggles, there can be this inner daily renewal - even growth - that tells us there is so much more. Look there, inside. It's worth it's weight in gold, and more: Christ in you, the hope of glory.
