Thankful for... our Katie!

There is something that brings out family pride when you see the name Katie McCloskey. She is such a wonderful addition to our family.  When we realized this beautiful and brilliant woman would be marrying Joel, we sensed an exciting answer to prayer. She not only knows a lot academically, she knows our son. She is extremely capable in the workplace, but chooses to invest her life as a wife, mother, gardener, hostess, baker, and much more. She compliments and challenges Joel to make him a better man.  As she is now VERY much with child, we cannot wait to see her again soon!

13 She seeks wool and flax,
    and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the ships of the merchant;
    she brings her food from afar.
15 She rises while it is yet night
    and provides food for her household
    and portions for her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
    with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17 She dresses herself with strength
    and makes her arms strong.
(Proverbs 31)
