The Worthy Investment

Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser;

    teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
    and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
11
For by me your days will be multiplied,
    and years will be added to your life.

(Proverbs 9:9-11)
Wisdom is something worth investing in - both as recipient and giver. Like any investment, we do not always see a return - at least not immediately. But it is worthwhile. And it's never too much. Like discipleship, there is always more to learn, and apply, to life.  It begins with the heart attitude: Who is God? God or me?  As a recipient of wisdom (which ultimately comes from Him), having such an attitude makes as open to His working in our life.  As one seeking to pass on wisdom to others, this same attitude leaves the fate of our investment in God's hands; He is sovereign and to be trusted.  Never stop investing in Wisdom.
