What a group! These men and women serve God not only "officially" as deacons and deaconesses, but with their lives in so many ways. They are observant of people in need and respond with hearts of love and compassion. They will be at it again today and on various occasions throughout the coming month, reaching out, making sure nobody "falls through the cracks." Each one is a blessing, and when you put them all together, watch and see what God can do!
I Timothy 3:13 For those who serve well as deacons gain a good standing for themselves and also great confidence in the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
