Impatience leads to...

James 5:7 Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. 10 As an example of suffering and patience, brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.
Grumbling: that's what we do when we become impatient. We grumble against and to one another, and we grumble against God.  It is inconsistent and contrary to thankfulness, especially gratitude toward God for is compassion and mercy - in fact, His very patience with us.  He has given up plenty of examles: among God's people, like Job and the prophets, and in every day people, like farmer, or the people that have to put up with you!  So, today, let's try to have a little more of a proper perspective. Let's listen to ourselves for grumbling, realize and confess our impatience, and turn our tune to one of thanksgiving and rejoicing.
