5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
(James 1:5)
It's okay to be confused, to not always know exactly what to do. In fact, if you are never in that situation, be afraid; you trust in yourself too much. God tells us that there is wisdom in a multitude of counsellors, especially Him. Like all of our prayers, trust is the key - trust in God's wisdom, ability, and desire to show us the way. Failing to seek Him and receive His way will take us the wrong way. So, that decision you have been weighing? Guess who is waiting to help. Think you don't have any such decisions? Look again, and ask Him what they are.
