When you set your heart to seek God

Jehoshaphat lived at Jerusalem. And he went out again among the people, from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim, and brought them back to the Lord, the God of their fathers. He appointed judges in the land in all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city, and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes.”
II Chronicles 19.
Something happens when one sets his heart to seek God.  That is what is said of Jeshoshaphat at the end of the paragraph before this one.  How one "Sets his heart" affects the decisions he/she makes and the actions he/she takes. It is outwardly observable. So we see Jehoshaphat, and any other of the revival kings of the Old Testament, taking action to "bring the people back to God," including using God's standards for judgment and justice, and seeking Godly counsel himself - surrounding himself with God's priests and prophets. His final challenge to these appointees was to "act courageously", as showing God's justice may alway be right, but it is often not popular.  May we set our hearts to seek God, His wisdom, and His justice today.
