15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. 16 If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. (Deuteronomy 30)
God gives us choices. He always has since day one. He explains how things work for our good - how life is designed to be lived, and "the rules of the game." He has revealed Himself and His laws that reflect His character and creative design. Our first response should be to Love Him - to do what pleases Him, honors His character, and lines up with His word. It is there that we find what it is to live, what it is to be blessed, truly happy, knowing that all is as it should be.
