Remember Who you've talked to...

Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the people of Israel, saying, “This is what the LORD has commanded. If a man vows a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth. (Numbers 30:1-2 ESV) Here we are five weeks into the new year, and how many new year's resolutions have we broken? How many promises to the LORD? Why is this such a big deal with God - keeping our word? Because He keeps His word, and he calls on us to be like Him. May we listen to ourselves today, and what we promise, and take our words seriously
