Hebrews 12:3-4 Consider him who endured from sinners such hostility against himself, so that you may not grow weary or fainthearted. In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
We usually stop reading after verse 2. We are running the race of faith, surrounded by faithful supporters, looking to the ONE who has gone on before. What are we thinking as we run? What will keep us moving toward the prize, the goal? HIM, the one who shed His blood for us. He keeps us going; He helps us not grow weary and give up. Today, take some time to consider HIM.
