The Place to Be #30

Ephesians 6: 23 Peace be to the brothers, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.

Paul concludes his letter with the same sentiments with which he began, with one or two additions.  He wishes for them once again Peace and Grace, in the reverse order from which he listed them in his greeting.  He trusts that theses believers will know, despite their present struggles and issues, the peace that comes knowing God is in charge and sovereign, more than able to do what needs to be done in our lives and in the church. His grace in Christ is still at work full force.  Along with these, Paul has spoken much about the love that God had shown in Christ, which was to be directed toward one another.  Add to these the faith He has given - the ability to believe God really loves us and to therefore trust Him and His plan, and Paul is willing and content to close his letter and allow God to do what only God could do.  May we experience His grace, peace, love and faith in like manner.
