True Love Unspoken

19 My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, 20 let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. (James 5)
Peter, in his first letter says  Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.(4:8)  Here, James describes a very practical and real way to show that love - drawing an erring brother or sister in the Lord back in repentance from error.  It's like running back into a burning building to save someone - it takes courage, faith, and love.  Both writers are telling us the same thing.  In this journey of faith with all its distractions and discouragements, it can be tempting to give up, lose heart, and fall.  But when we walk together, encouraging and challenging each other, the journey becomes much more doable.   Come along side a brother or sister today.  Someday you may be the one tending to wander away.
