Leviticus 23:1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of the Lord that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are my appointed feasts.
As we have seen, this book is all about the holiness of the sacred covenant between God and His people. He gave them all the instructions, and admonitions, that they needed to live life in relationship with Him. As He nears the end of His guidelines, it becomes more like party plans. Let's plan on getting together on the Sabbath, Passover, First Fruits, Feast of Weeks, Feast of Trumpets, Day of Passover, Feast of Booths. Life with God is meant to be celebrated, observed, enjoyed. Let's not turn it into a drudgery. Let's begin by going to spend time celebrating with Him today.
