 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER BELOW!

26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
27 So God created man in his own image,
    in the image of God he created him;
    male and female he created them.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” 29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. 30 And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so. 31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Genesis: The Book of Beginnings: Looking at what God began with His creation, in History, with Man.  We know a lot of the events, but it was so long ago. Does it really have to do with me today? Yes, it does. We look all around and we see who and what He made. We see evidence. We see sin. We see all kinds of people, family problems, wars, tragedies and triumphs. We see God setting the foundation for the future.  Take a fresh look at what God did, then look around at the people in your life, the things He has made and others have made through the creativity God has given. Take a picture of what stands out to you, send it to me. But even more, talk to God about why it is important to you.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER SCRIPTURE SELFIE SCAVENGER HUNT: So here is the deal for September.  I would like to see this blog be a little more interactive. Each day will focus on a different book of the Bible and some special theme. Meditate on the scripture and the theme, and how it impacts you. Then grab your phone and take a picture. It can be of you, your family, or anyone around you, or any object that represents your thoughts. You can even stage a photo, acting out a biblical event or activity.  Creativity is the Key.  There will be awards - even rewards at the end of the month! Thanks for your help!
