The "goats" here are shocked by what is going to happen to them and why. They did not see it. They did not see it coming. They were so wrapped up in themselves, they did not see others. They were so into the things of this world, they could not see the King returning, in judgment. They could not see judgment coming their way. O say... can you see? Can we see clearly as He does?
