“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

We have already seen that joy can be demonstrated outwardly with singing, shouting, leaping and dancing. But there are other things we do that demonstrate our deepest joy - what it really is that gives us most satisfaction and fulfillment. We pour our all into it. Christ calls us to pour that into our relationship with Him. Nothing else compares in value, and where our treasure is, and our heart is, we will invest ourselves most deeply. Have you found The Joy?
