Definitely a time to think...

Luke 20:41-44 Then Jesus said to them, “Why is it said that the Messiah is the son of David? David himself declares in the Book of Psalms:“‘The Lord said to my Lord:“Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’ David calls him ‘Lord.’ How then can he be his son?” As Jesus pointed out what was really important during his final days and hours before the cross, one key question had to do with the Messiah. Were they looking for a mere mortal? Or is He something more? They knew He was to be in the line of David, but David had said He would be even more. He would be The Lord. And He is. Definitely something we need to come to terms with this Passion Week. He is risen from the dead and He is Lord.
